Grand Plans

You know, I really do have plans. Really. But sometimes I have so many, that I don’t really ever get to them. I have a plan to re-design my website, combining it with my blog. That will be a big task. I have plans to re-write another project I have going on. Another big task. All bigger. All better. Shnazzier.

But then I remember that I sit at a computer all day at work already, and the desire is not always there when I’m at home. Or when I am at home on my computer I instead spend my time browsing the web or playing counterstrike.

We also need to start working on the new shed. The old one is falling apart (literally). And baseball is starting back up on Monday. And work-related softball. And over half of my evenings are spent _not_ at home.

I guess I just need to decide on one project, and do it. It’s too overwhelming to think of them all at once.

Oh No!

Well, for a long time I’ve wanted a laptop. And I have a few friends that have all been telling me I should get a Mac. At work, though, I (sadly) spend almost all of my time in the Windows world working in Visual Studio. The whole idea behind getting a laptop is to have something portable, but getting something *cough* a Mac *cough* that would not be compatible with my work would not be a wise decision.

Enter the MacBook Pro. It’s an Intel based machine (as opposed to the G4 and G5 previous generation processors), and a challenge was put out to dual boot OSX (Apple’s OS) and Windows. Well, once some money was thrown in, that challenge was answered.

So now I don’t have that “it wouldn’t be conducive to work” excuse for not getting that MacBook.

At least I still have the “I don’t wanna spend the money” excuse, but honestly, how long can that hold up???

Happy Birthday!

Well, my mother is officially one day older than she was yesterday at this time!

And one year older than this same date last year.

Not to mention __ years older than she was on the day she was born….

So happy birthday Mom.

Iluvu.
