Yeah, well, that didn’t happen. Money just seems to disappear when we go to BJ’s. Everything is so alluring, it all just calls out to be put in the shopping cart. Not wanting to disappoint, we obliged. An hour and a half later, Abby and I were both broke.
But it’s OK! We honestly *did* need all the stuff we were getting. And buying in bulk is definitely cheaper in the long run. The only disappointing thing was when we got home and realized that one of the packages of ground turkey we had gotten was not sealed properly and was no longer eligible to be eaten… hopefully we will be able to resolve that issue with BJ’s today.
Well, enough about BJ’s, I guess.
Well, I finally broke down a couple weeks ago and ordered a laptop. A Dell Inspiron to be precise. None of that Macbook stuff for me. I just couldn’t justify spending the money, not when I could get a Dell with much better specs for less. I mean, money doesn’t grow on trees. At least not on any of the trees in *my* yard.
Anyhow, what goes along with a laptop? You guessed it (you cheated by reading the title I’m sure…) — *wireless*. So I jumped online on Tuesday and ordered me a wireless router from Newegg, and because Newegg is awesome it arrived at my house on Wednesday afternoon. After re-wiring a bunch of stuff, I now have a secured wireless network in my house. Yay!
Now if only that laptop would arrive sometime soon… (stupid production delays)!
I have been overloaded with stress lately. Way too anxious about where life is going and what decisions I should make. Why can I not just trust God to care and provide for me? Why do I worry so much?
Philippians 4:6-7
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
