It’s Friday! Let me give you a little run-down since the beginning of the month:
3/1 - Thursday: After work, I decided to stay home instead of going to wallyball as I had to get ready to go to Rumney the next day, and I also knew it would be a while before I would have any time at home after that.
3/2 - Friday: Left for Rumney shortly after work. We got up there around 9 PM, but the evening was just starting. After settling in, some free time, a speaker session, and some more free time, lights out was at 1:15 AM.
3/3 - 3/4 - The Weekend: Late nights and long days at Rumney, including ice-skating, cross-country skiing, tubing, speaker sessions, games, and uncomfortable mattresses. Overall, a really great weekend! We got back to the chapel around 5 PM on Sunday. Basically fell asleep watching a movie at Heather’s house Sunday evening.
3/5 - Monday: Note, I still haven’t really spent any time at other except to sleep since Thursday night. After work, Abby and I left for Springfield shortly after work to go get her new car!! I wasn’t really excited about making the two hour drive (each way), especially having driven three hours home from Rumney the day before, but I was glad to help her out. So, two hours there, get the car, two hours back. 10 PM. Bedtime.
3/6 - Tuesday: Had youth group in the evening after work, and my was it a rowdy night. We had YG alum present, as well as a bunch of kids who normally are absent due to sports or are otherwise occupied. So the room was packed, and the kids were all still excited from Rumney.
3/7 - Wednesday: Went to Heather’s straight from work and hung out there. Didn’t really get all that much done, but that’s ok. Made it to bed around 11:15 PM.
3/8 - Thursday: Had wallyball after work, got home around 10 PM.
3/9 - Today: This evening we have Friday Night Worship at the chapel at 8 PM (you should come!!), and then a bunch of us are considering going to see 300 afterwards. Needless to say, it will be another late night, and another day will have passed without being at home except to sleep.
Soo, I’m really looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow, and hopefully not having TOO much to do. I think I just need some time at home to unwind, as it’s been over a week now of running around like crazy.
