because I haven’t received my W-2 from them yet. Basically, I gave someone my address over the phone, and she said she’d send out another copy of it today. I told her that I *had* received my 1098-T form from Taylor, but she told me that they’re on a totally different system.
So part of Taylor has my correct address, but not all of it. I’ve filled out all the “change address” forms and stuff, but it just doesn’t seem to propogate properly. I get the Taylor magazine, so I know that system has it correct too.
C’mon Taylor, sync up your databases. Let everyone grab the address from the _same_ place. It makes you look bad to have inconsistent, out of date, and incorrect information laying around. Especially when it comes to payroll.
Sorry, I’m just a bit frustrated about the whole thing. Last year something similar happened. My W-2 went out to MA, got redirected to somewhere in Ohio (?? why on earth ??), and finally showed up back at Taylor all bent and beat up. By that time I had *already* requested a copy and had it in hand.
Oh well, this should be my last W-2 from Taylor.
