Well, for a long time I’ve wanted a laptop. And I have a few friends that have all been telling me I should get a Mac. At work, though, I (sadly) spend almost all of my time in the Windows world working in Visual Studio. The whole idea behind getting a laptop is to have something portable, but getting something *cough* a Mac *cough* that would not be compatible with my work would not be a wise decision.
Enter the MacBook Pro. It’s an Intel based machine (as opposed to the G4 and G5 previous generation processors), and a challenge was put out to dual boot OSX (Apple’s OS) and Windows. Well, once some money was thrown in, that challenge was answered.
So now I don’t have that “it wouldn’t be conducive to work” excuse for not getting that MacBook.
At least I still have the “I don’t wanna spend the money” excuse, but honestly, how long can that hold up???
