A week off. A week away. A week to sit around and read, stay up late, wake up late, and leave everything behind.

A week to wonder what things would be like if I had moved to Texas instead. It’s not so bad down here - BUT IT’S TEXAS. I don’t know if I’d ever really wanna make it my home. But alas, I chose a different path, if possibly not the wisest choice I’ve ever made. We all do that though. It’s part of life. It’s part of learning.

Let’s see. Since being here we’ve gone out and played pool, stayed home, and gone bowling. Camping is on the agenda, as well as a visit to Six Flags.

Best quote so far? Brett (Adam’s dad): “AAAAH! The fridge is being taken over by food! This is a problem; we need more space for beer!”
