What is the job of a computer security expert? Is it not to keep the computers on their network SECURE from viruses and worms by applying security patches? So what is really going on in a company that gets totally shut down by the latest computer worm? You would think that having three weeks of advance notice before a new worm comes out would be enough time to apply the fix that came with the notice. But apparently it’s not. The coffee must just be too appealing, the conversations too involving to actually get work done at work.

No wonder people are having to work longer hours more days per week. Alas, such is life.
