Wow

It’s been a long time.

Ok, let’s see. Arizona was awesome! Nice and hot, unlike MA at the time. Chip got married, and upon his return from his honeymoon said that he would recommend a honeymoon to anyone. Yeah.

Work since then has been psycho insane, and even a bit crazy sometimes… We’re on a big push here and right now we’re in the final stages, so the days have been long. Big ol’ test on the system this Wednesday / Thursday, but my stuff is pretty much done. I keep saying that but the days still end up being long.

June 14: Happy birthday Adam
July 2: Happy birthday Morten
July 4: Happy birthday USA
July 5: Happy birthday Eric

4th of July weekend hung out around the house and watched fireworks from the front yard. Also had a big cookout / fundraiser for Sarah as she leaves on her year-long mission stint. Sarahpalooza - that was the name of the party. Went to fireworks in New London on the 9th - it’s supposed to be the second best display in the world. It was good, but I think last year they were better. Maybe just because last year was the first year I saw such a great display, but still.

Yesterday was Eric’s b-day party at his place. We played volleyball. Lots of volleyball. And, oh man, was it fun. Definitely need to play more volleyball. Got home last night, went to bed. Today I was at work for 9 hours and 45 minutes (taco bell lunch break included), and tonight it’s movie night because the movie is due back by 11pm or so…

Tomorrow will probably be another long day, as will Wednesday, but a 6pm softball game on Wednesday will hopefully bring an end to the long days. The pace should slow down a bit for the next 2-3 weeks before it gets busy again just in time for our next “test” of the system.

I guess that’s about it. I need a beer.
